RRSEC MTSS

MTSS is not Special Ed by definition. There is overlap, but MTSS is the responsibility of each individual district. That is not to say that every district has it all figured out. Rum River is proud to offer assistance to its member districts in this area. We have a dedicated team, planning and preparing and ready to assist in any way they can.

What is MTSS?
Multi-Tiered System of supports is a comprehensive, school-wide framework designed to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to all students. It organizes instruction and intervention into three tiers: high-quality universal supports for everyone, targeted small-group supports for students who need additional help, and intensive, individualized interventions for those with the most significant needs. MTSS is proactive, data-driven, and focused on ensuring that every student has the resources and strategies necessary to succeed.
